One of the perks of working for Apollo is the opportunity to have great familiarisation trips in our top-of-the-range motorhomes. One of our Hobart branch staff members, Phil, recently took a Euro Tourer to Cradle Mountain in Tasmania. This is his story: We set off on Friday afternoon and stayed the first night at Longford, always a lovely green spot on the banks of the South Esk river. In the morning, as we travelled further north and west, there were snow clouds over the mountains, which were expected to clear during the day, so we were in no ...

While sheltered swimming and patrolled surf beaches abound on One Mile Beach, there are also many short coastal bushwalks plus some of the finest fishing spots on the eastern seaboard. Some of the most popular hikes and lookouts are in Tomaree National ...

One of the perks of working for Apollo is the opportunity to have great familiarisation trips in our top-of-the-range motorhomes. One of our hardworking Fleet Coordinators, Aaron, recently took his family on a fun Queensland camping trip. This is his story: I picked up my VW 6 berth Apollo Euro Deluxe from the Brisbane office on Friday afternoon. I was comprehensively shown over the brand new vehicle and pulled out into the Friday afternoon traffic to begin our adventure. After picking up my son and two daughters from their after school care we set about loading the camper with our ...

Our lucky Hobart branch staff have taken yet another motorhome trip, this time around beautiful Tasmania. Read about their latest adventure below. "Our trip was a revisit to the North-East corner of Tassie, which is comparatively isolated, and which we had not visited in more than 10 years. The first stop was at Coles Bay on the edge of Freycinet National Park, but the weather was unfavourable so we moved on to St Helens. The gearing on the Toyota is perfect for Tassie’s roads, and the drive is very easy. As usual, we stopped along the way for ...
